Sam Orloff is a sophomore from Minneapolis studying history and political science. Sam began his work with the Penn & Slavery Project in Fall 2018 by researching the possible links between Perkasie Manor, an early property owned by the University, and slavery. He is currently studying Provost William Smith's fundraising in the United Kingdom. In addition to working with the Penn & Slavery Project, Sam edits for the Penn Undergraduate Law Journal (PULJ) and is active in Penn's Jewish community.
