Dillon Kersh*
Dillon Kersh is graduated from Penn with degrees in History & Political Science. He joined the Penn & Slavery Project in the fall of 2017 after taking Professor Kathleen Brown's 'Deciphering America' course the previous semester. His earlier research looked at Penn's 18th-century trustees and their personal connections to slavery and the slave trade. His current research focuses on the Tilghman family's personal ties to slavery, Ebenezer Kinnersley and his enslaved man Caesar, and the University's finances in the 18th century.
